Synspective has agreed with Rocket Lab of the United States to buy 20 dedicated launches on the Electron rocket, scheduled between 2028 and 2031. The Tokyo-listed company (code 290A, TSE Growth) calls it the largest launch contract in its history.

What the contract covers

The multi-launch agreement was announced in a notice dated 1 October 2026. The notice describes Rocket Lab, whose CEO is Sir Peter Beck, as a global leader in launch services and space systems. Synspective says the deal is also the largest multi-launch agreement Rocket Lab has signed with a single customer.

The headline of the news release that the notice points to puts the pipeline at 34 satellites still to be launched. The notice itself does not break down how the 20 Electron launches fit into that number.

No change to the guidance

Synspective describes the agreement as a commitment on future launches. It says the deal has no effect on the full-year forecast for the year to December 2026, which the company disclosed on 13 February 2026.

The notice gives no contract value, payment terms or per-launch pricing, so the size of the commitment in yen cannot be read from it. It says the company will report launch updates through press releases and its results materials.
