PowerX drew ¥7.0bn from an ¥8.0bn Mizuho-led syndicated facility to repay ¥6.0bn of existing borrowing, with the new loan due back on September 17 and secured against company real estate and receivables.
PowerX's first-half revenue rose 48% and its net loss narrowed to ¥1.55bn, but inventory and supplier-advance buildups for back-loaded battery deliveries pushed operating cash flow to a ¥4.66bn outflow, leaving the storage-system maker drawing on an ¥8bn Mizuho-led credit line and, after the half closed, a separate ¥5bn refinancing loan.
PowerX and GPU-hosting operator Highreso have signed a memorandum to study battery storage, power trading and joint site development for AI data centers, an early-stage response to grid capacity strain rather than a signed project.
