Schneider Electric's revenue for the six months to 30 June 2026 was €21,226mn (about ¥3.90tn at the filing's conversion rate), up 14.0% organically and 9.8% as reported, according to its half-year securities report. The gap is currency: a weaker dollar and Indian rupee against the euro took 3.9% off growth and €747mn off revenue. Net acquisitions added 0.1%, mainly from Motivair.
Where demand came from
The company attributes organic growth to strong system sales, mostly into data-centre and infrastructure end markets. Energy Management, 83% of sales at €17,641mn, grew 15.4% organically. North America rose 21%, with data centres the largest driver and housing construction a drag. Industrial Automation, at €3,585mn, grew 7.7%, helped by a recovery in discrete automation and by price increases.
Profit
Adjusted EBITA rose 22.1% organically to €4,093mn, and the margin widened 120 basis points organically to 19.3%. Net profit was €2,548mn against €2,010mn a year earlier. The earlier period carried a €274mn impairment on the Uplight investment.
Two deals still to close
On 30 June 2026 Schneider agreed to buy all of Cognite, an industrial data and AI software provider, in an all-cash deal at a $3.1bn valuation. Cognite's 2025 revenue exceeded $170mn. On 20 June it agreed to buy about 90% of AiDash, which sells AI-based vegetation and asset management software to utilities, at an enterprise value of $350mn, also in cash.
Both deals depend on customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals, and are expected to complete within the next few quarters. AiDash is to be fully consolidated in Energy Management once closed. The condensed interim statements carry no audit-equivalent attestation under Japanese rules.
