Agent IG Holdings said its consolidated subsidiary Agent Insurance Group completed on 30 September 2026 the purchase of part of the non-life and life insurance contracts held by Advance Create. The company announced the completion in a timely disclosure on the same day, following a board resolution to sign the final contract.
What was bought
The assets are customer contract positions and the customer information that goes with them. The disclosure lists two lots: 44,680 non-life contracts and 153,665 life contracts, labelled as the contract counts targeted for acquisition under the final contract. Each covers only a portion of the policies Advance Create holds.
The two counts are separate line items in the disclosure. Agent IG does not give a combined total, and it does not state the premium or commission value attached to either lot.
Price and commission income
The acquisition price is undisclosed for both lots. Agent IG cites a confidentiality obligation to the counterparty, and says it checked the price was appropriate against past transactions by the group and by other companies.
What the group gets is part of Advance Create's existing policyholder base and a portion of the agency commission income that the policies continue to generate. The disclosure gives no figure for that income and does not guarantee its level.
The follow-up plan
Agent IG says it will use Agent Insurance Group's core system, A-System, and its insurance agency support platform to build a follow-up process quickly. That covers renewal notices and policy review proposals to the acquired customers. The company says it aims to raise policy continuation rates and create cross-selling opportunities, and it expects the acquisition to strengthen the group's earnings base over the medium to long term. These are management aims and expectations, not results.
The company also said it published a revision to its full-year consolidated forecast for the year ending December 2026 on the same day, citing the effect of the acquisition on that year's results. The disclosure does not give the revised figures.
The deal followed a basic agreement announced on 31 August 2026 and a notice on 29 September 2026 that set the final contract date. Details on the counterparty are in the August notice.
