Nippon Sheet Glass Set to Leave Tokyo Stock Exchange on September 28

Nippon Sheet Glass says payment for its third-party share allotment and the procedures required for a related share consolidation are finished, and its shares will leave the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime Market on September 28, 2026.

Nippon Sheet Glass Company, Limited told the Tokyo Stock Exchange that its shares will be delisted from the Prime Market on September 28, 2026.

The company said shareholders approved two linked proposals at its annual general meeting, combined with a class shareholders' meeting, on June 26, 2026: a third-party allotment of new shares and a share consolidation. The allotment went to Lumina Japan Acquisition Co., Ltd., a special-purpose company held by an investment fund advised by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Payment for that allotment was completed on August 31, 2026, and Nippon Sheet Glass says every procedure needed to carry out the share consolidation has now also been finished. Those two completed steps are what the company says clear the way for the September 28 delisting from the Prime Market.

In the same notice, the company thanked shareholders for their long-standing support and said it intends to build a stronger, more sustainable business base as it moves into what it calls its next growth stage. The notice does not detail what changes shareholders should expect once trading ends, referring readers instead to its earlier June 26 and August 31 disclosures for the transaction's fuller terms.
