A&D Co. lost its status as a designated verification body for specified measuring instruments effective July 14, cutting off a service its parent says will have only a minor financial impact while it lines up outside help for customers.
Subsidiary A&D Engineering and one executive officer each received a ¥500,000 summary order dated May 27 from Saitama Summary Court over certification marks that were not removed from repaired measuring instruments. The company says the effect on group performance is minor.
