Aichi Financial Group and San ju San Financial Group Scrap Their Merger Plan
Four months after agreeing to merge, the two Tokai-region bank holding companies have walked away: differing views on the direction of the integrated holding company left the final agreement unworkable ahead of a September deadline, and both firms say the split leaves earnings unaffected.
