Star Seeds Books a Second ¥6.7bn Server Order From Taiwan's Inventec

Star Seeds' server-resale subsidiary will book about $42.9mn (¥6.7bn) from a second data-center hardware sale to Taiwan's Inventec Corporation, at least a tenth of prior-year group revenue, but pricing details stay confidential and the sale is already baked into existing guidance.

Star Seeds Co., Ltd.'s server-resale subsidiary, referred to in the filing as SSD, has agreed to a second data-center server transaction with Taiwan's INVENTEC CORPORATION, an electronics ODM/OEM and data-center business based in Taipei. Expected sales from the deal come to roughly $42.9mn, about ¥6.7bn, a figure the company says equals 10% or more of its consolidated revenue for the prior fiscal year.

Star Seeds is not disclosing what the servers cost or sold for. The company says both the purchase price paid to its unnamed Tokyo-based supplier and the resale price charged to Inventec are being withheld at the counterparty's request, and that the acquisition funds are being paid by cash bank transfer. That leaves investors with a headline revenue number and no way to judge the margin behind it.

The order builds on an earlier transaction with the same Taiwanese buyer disclosed on July 30, 2026. SSD itself was only set up in September 2025, to sell high-performance servers for AI, machine-learning and data-analysis workloads, and this is its second confirmed sale to Inventec inside two months. Star Seeds says it has no capital or personnel ties to Inventec, just a basic sales agreement and now a repeat-customer relationship.

One thing this deal does not do is move the needle on guidance. Star Seeds says the sale is already folded into the upward revision to its forecast for the fiscal year ending in February 2027, which it announced back on June 25, 2026. So the disclosure confirms the pipeline is delivering roughly as promised, rather than adding anything new to the outlook.
