Senshu Electric, an electric wire and cable distributor listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under ticker 9824, revised upward the full-year forecast it issued on June 4, 2026, for the year ending October 31, 2026. New sales guidance rises to ¥160.0bn from ¥154.0bn, a 3.9 percent increase. Operating profit guidance climbs to ¥12.6bn from ¥11.2bn, up 12.1 percent, and net profit attributable to shareholders rises to ¥9.2bn from ¥8.5bn, up 7.6 percent. Forecast earnings per share increase to ¥538.05 from ¥499.82, a figure the company adjusts for 142,000 shares it bought back under board resolutions passed in October 2025 and April 2026.

Management attributed the upgrade to a continuing recovery in demand from customers making semiconductor manufacturing equipment and machine tools. The nine-month results the company published the same day show why: cumulative sales through July rose 19.9 percent to ¥121.5bn, operating profit rose 40.9 percent to ¥9.5bn and net profit rose 40.9 percent to ¥7.0bn, reversing declines from the equivalent period a year earlier. The filing cites the same chip-equipment and machine-tool recovery, even as shipments to construction and electricity-distribution customers fell on rising material costs and labor shortages.
Senshu Electric also raised its year-end dividend forecast by ¥10 to ¥90 a share, lifting the full-year payout forecast to ¥170 from a prior ¥160 and above the ¥150 paid in the previous fiscal year. The company said its dividend decisions reflect earnings, retained-earnings levels and a policy of maintaining stable payouts.
