NTT, Inc. reported consolidated operating revenue of ¥3.62tn for the three months to June 30, 2026, up 10.9% from a year earlier and a quarterly record. Operating profit rose a more modest 4.9% to ¥425.1bn, and profit attributable to NTT climbed 5.8% to ¥274.8bn.
The growth came mainly from two of the group's four reporting segments. External revenue in the Global Solutions business, which covers NTT Data's consulting and IT services work along with data-center operations, rose to roughly ¥1.23tn from ¥1.05tn a year earlier. The Integrated ICT segment, which houses NTT Docomo's mobile, broadband and enterprise services, rose to roughly ¥1.54tn from ¥1.42tn.
NTT left its full-year forecast untouched: revenue of ¥15.06tn (+4.5%), operating profit of ¥1.71tn (+0.2%), net profit of ¥980bn (down 5.5%), and an annual dividend of ¥5.40 a share.
| Metric | Q1 (Apr-Jun 2026) | Q1 YoY change | Full-year guidance YoY |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operating revenue | ¥3.62tn | +10.9% | +4.5% |
| Operating profit | ¥425.1bn | +4.9% | +0.2% |
| Net profit attributable to NTT | ¥274.8bn | +5.8% | -5.5% |
The gap between the quarter's pace and the guided full-year rate means the rest of the fiscal year is expected to carry most of the slowdown implied in that forecast.
Comprehensive income, which folds in currency and hedging swings on top of reported profit, rose 12.2% to ¥345.8bn, a reversal from the 12.4% drop booked in the same quarter a year earlier.
